Sony to sizzle up the weekend with ‘Monsoon Masala’
MUMBAI: The monsoons seem to have inspired Sony Entertainment Television to bring in some programming innovation. To spice up the occasion, the channel has lined up a “super entertaining monsoon weekend special”.
On 25 June, from 8 pm to 11 pm, the channel will present specials on its prominent programmes: Batliwalla House No. 43, Pepsi Yaroon Ki Pyas Hai Badi and Jassi Ka Safar.
8.00 – 9.00 pm – Batliwalla House No. 43: Two back to back episodes with popular television actors Aamna Sharif, Shakti Anand, Gurdeep Kohli and Hussain as celebrity guests, plus a sneak preview into their personal lives.
9.00 -10.00 pm – Pepsi Yar
oon Ki Pyas Hai Badi: The channel presents a concert featuring the Indian Idol stars Abhijeet Sawant, Rahul Vaidya with stars of Sony shows like Kkusum, Yeh Meri Life Hai.
10.00 – 11.00 pm – Jassi Ka Safar: A special recap episode which will take viewers through Jassi’s journey the trials and tribulations the tears and smiles of the gawky girl who found herself, and metamorphed into a stunning woman.and the culmination of her true love story, states an official release.

MUMBAI: Samsung TV Plus has just turned up the laughter volume and it’s completely free. The leading free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service in India has launched Kings of Comedy, a premium comedy channel featuring some of the country’s most beloved primetime shows. Available exclusively on Samsung TV Plus, the channel delivers back-to-back hits including Comedy Nights with Kapil, Khatra Khatra Khatra, and Comedy Nights Bachao, with no login or subscription required.
