SaharaOne has decided to have individual heads of marketing and distribution. “We are looking at separate marketing and distribution heads for SaharaOne,” says Isaac. The whole task of rebuilding the team will be with Bose (SaharaOne Television COO Purnendu Bose), he adds.

Monica Srivastava will continue to head ad sales and will now be reporting to Bose. She was earlier reporting to Menon.

Several senior executives have left SaharaOne following the restructuring exercise. Among them are the former SaharaOne Television COO Karuna Samtani, vice president of programming Triptii Sharma, and Motion Picture Business creative director Akashdeep, who was moved to the role of an advisor to Sahara’s Film City project.
