Snapchat takes Unified Attribution global, giving app advertisers deeper campaign insights
New integrations bring Snap Ads and measurement partner data into one view
CALIFORNIA: Snap Inc. is expanding its Unified Attribution measurement offering globally, allowing more app advertisers to combine Snap Ads performance data with information from their chosen mobile measurement partners.
The expansion includes advertisers using AppsFlyer and Adjust, with the options now available to advertisers worldwide.
Unified Attribution brings Snapchat’s platform metrics together with cross-channel data from mobile measurement partners, giving marketers a single view of campaign performance. The tool is designed to help advertisers understand how Snapchat campaigns perform relative to other acquisition channels.
Snapchat launched Unified Attribution in May with a limited group of data integration partners. The latest expansion broadens access and gives advertisers more flexibility in choosing the measurement data they use to assess campaigns.
The combined data is designed to help marketers connect campaign decisions with business outcomes, whether the objective is driving app installs, improving onboarding, increasing purchases or scaling customer acquisition efficiently.
The update essentially puts more performance information in one place. Instead of relying solely on Snapchat’s own advertising metrics, marketers can compare those signals with cross-channel results from their measurement partners.
That could be particularly useful for advertisers looking beyond impressions and clicks to understand whether campaigns are translating into actual installs, purchases and other business outcomes.
Snapchat has also been expanding its app-promotion capabilities. Over the past year, it has introduced and expanded formats including Sponsored Snaps, which place app promotions directly in users’ inboxes.
The latest measurement update strengthens that wider push by giving advertisers more tools to understand the impact of their app campaigns. With Snapchat continuing to have strong reach among younger audiences, improved measurement could help brands make a stronger case for investing in the platform.
With Unified Attribution now available more broadly and support extended to AppsFlyer and Adjust, Snapchat is betting that a clearer view of campaign performance will help advertisers optimise smarter and spend more effectively.
