Toing launches first brand campaign to spotlight affordability push
Swiggy-owned platform says film has clocked 13.6 million views in days.
MUMBAI: When a wedding procession turns food delivery partner, you know the bill isn’t the only thing being cut down. Swiggy-owned food delivery platform Toing has rolled out its first digital brand campaign, leaning on humour and a touch of absurdity to underline what it says is its biggest differentiator: affordability. At the heart of the campaign is the platform’s “lowest price guarantee”, which promises matching or lower menu prices, zero packaging charges and no platform fees.
The film, titled Shoo-Shaa, takes a familiar food delivery scenario and dials it up several notches. Instead of a rider weaving through traffic, viewers are treated to a full-blown wedding procession complete with a horse, band members and costumed characters attempting to squeeze through narrow apartment corridors to deliver an order.
The chaos is deliberate. The message is simple, customers should only have to think about their food, not the extra charges that often tag along with it.
The campaign marks a significant branding milestone for Toing, which was launched in the second half of 2025, beginning with Pune. Since then, the platform has expanded to 40 cities across India, crossed 4 million downloads and currently holds a user rating of 4.5.
Rather than relying on celebrity endorsements or conventional discount-led advertising, the campaign uses exaggerated visual comedy to reinforce its value proposition. The approach appears to be resonating. According to the company, the film has garnered nearly 13.6 million views within just a few days of release.
As competition in food delivery intensifies and consumers become increasingly price conscious, platforms are searching for fresh ways to stand out. With Shoo-Shaa, Toing is betting that a wedding band, a horse and a corridor-sized logistical nightmare can make one thing memorable: sometimes the biggest saving is the charge that never appears on the bill.
