Riteish Deshmukh-hosted reality hit reaches 7.7 million viewers this season
MUMBAI: Bigg Boss Marathi wrapped up its latest season on a high note, with the grand finale emerging as the highest-rated show in the Marathi reality genre. Aired on Colors Marathi, the finale episode attracted 1.96 million viewers, while the overall season reached 7.7 million viewers, according to data sourced from BARC.
Hosted by Riteish Deshmukh, the sixth season maintained strong traction across television and social media throughout its run. The finale, aired on 19 April 2026, saw Tanvi Kolte lift the winner’s trophy, closing a season that consistently delivered high engagement among Marathi audiences.
The reality franchise continued to strengthen its position as a cultural mainstay in Maharashtra, blending celebrity drama, emotional storytelling and audience interaction into a ratings magnet for regional television. The show’s performance also reinforced the growing pull of Marathi non-fiction programming in an increasingly competitive entertainment market.

Danube Properties and Santoor Soap came on board as co-powered partners, while MYK Laticrete, Pitambari, P. N. Gadgil & Sons Ltd., Cotton King, Tunwal E Motors, Arokya and Sprite joined as special partners.
Over the years, Colors Marathi has built a strong reputation in regional entertainment with formats such as Bigg Boss Marathi, Sur Nava Dhyas Nava and Dholkichya Talawar, alongside popular fiction titles spanning mythology, romance and family drama.
With another successful season in the bag, Bigg Boss Marathi has once again proved that in Maharashtra, the house still knows how to keep viewers glued to their screens.
