EROS AIVidya and MRV launch AI-powered media and creative arts school
New degree programmes blend AI, filmmaking, gaming and real-world training
MUMBAI: Eros Innovation has announced the launch of EROS AIVidya, described as the world’s first Cultural AI Operating System designed specifically for creative arts education.
As part of the initiative, the company has partnered with Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth to introduce what it calls India’s first AI-integrated School of Media, Design and Technology.
The collaboration will launch three undergraduate programmes for the 2026-27 academic year: B.A. in Creative Media, B.A. in Film, OTT and Digital Cinema, and B.A. in Animation, VFX and Gaming.
Unlike traditional media courses that often separate theory from practice, the new programmes aim to immerse students in AI-driven creative production from the very first semester. The curriculum includes six-month industry internships, hands-on studio learning, international study tours and sessions with industry professionals.
Students will also use AI-powered teaching tools based on Eros movie characters and storytelling modules, blending entertainment technology with classroom learning. The platform is built on proprietary systems called Large Cultural Models and Large Cultural Voice Models, which support cinematic visuals, multilingual storytelling, music and voice generation.
According to Eros Innovation founder and chairman Kishore Lulla, the platform represents a major shift in how creative education is delivered.
He said, “With AIVidya, we are not adding AI to education. We are rebuilding education around AI. From this ecosystem will emerge the next generation of actors, singers, composers, directors and storytellers who will define global culture in the AI era.”
Meanwhile, Malla Reddy Vishwavidyapeeth vice chairman Preeti Reddy Chamakura said the partnership goes beyond simply launching new courses.
She noted, “Our students will graduate not just with degrees, but with real creative portfolios, industry experience and the ability to earn from their art from day one.”
The rollout is not limited to Hyderabad. EROS AIVidya also announced partnerships with Institute of Advanced Research, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University and Asiatic Institute of Science and Technology for AI certificate programmes and Centres of Excellence.
The company plans to expand the platform across 50 universities globally, spanning India, the UAE, the UK, Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia.
With AI rapidly reshaping entertainment, storytelling and content creation, EROS AIVidya is betting that tomorrow’s creators will need more than cameras and scripts. They may also need algorithms, virtual studios and a little help from machine intelligence.
