Ten Sports strengthens cricket line up with new show

MUMBAI:One of the main ways a sports channel can build share in India is to create specials around cricket.

With this in mind Ten Sports has come up with a new show that showcases the artistry of the ten best Indian batsmen of all time.

India’s Top Ten Batsmen will air every Monday at 7.30 pm from 22 November. It will feature legends like Sunil Gavaskar, G.Vishwanath, Tendulkar and Sehwag.

While Tendulkar and Sehwag.are known for their ruthless shot making abilities Rahul Dravid has been nicknamed the wall on account of his invincible defence. Then there are those with delicate touch and wristy stroke play, like Mohammed Azharuddin and VVS Laxman.

Laxman’s knock of 281 in a test match against Australia at the Eden Gardens three years ago is considered one of the best of all time.
