‘Swordfish’ to telecast on HBO

As a part of its Saturday Night Mega Movie package HBO will air the action packed Swordfish on 27 November at 9 pm.

The film is directed by Dominic Sena and sees an ex-government spy, played by John Travolta wanting to steal over nine billion dollars of unused governmental funds, stored behind heavily secured computer locks. With the money he plans to wreak havoc on the terrorists who threaten American interests abroad.

He enlists the help of a reformed hacker, Hugh Jackman who plays Stanley. He is coerced by Shear’s seductive associate, Halle Barry who plays the role of Ginger.

She helps Shear in his cause, on the other end Stanley has a more personal motive – to win back custody of the daughter he lost after his last computer crime.
