‘Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over’ is HBO’s big on 25 June
HBO, the English movie channel, wraps up the exciting Summer is HBO franchise with the third big one, Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, which will premiere on HBO on 25 June at 9:00 p.m. The latest installment in this family oriented action-adventure series, saw its Indian cinema premiere in April this year.
Starring Sylvester Stallone, Daryl Sabara, Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino, the Spy Kids, this time set out on their most mind-blowing mission yet, a journey inside the virtual reality world of a video game in order to stop a power-hungry villain set on controlling the youth of the world.
The film’s three-dimensional segments take place inside the game where an extravagant 3D world is created that really makes each special effect come to life. Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over was shot partly in high-definition, digital video, using an anaglyphic process to create the 3-D effect.
The film is directed by Robert Rodriguez, who has written, directed, and produced several good movies like Desperado, From Dusk till Dawn, Faculty and Spy Kids.
