Sony, Zee line up Holi fare
MUMBAI:On the auspicious occasion of Holi, Sony will showcase a musical bonanza featuring the channe’s stars, famous personalities, leading singers, and the Indian Idol finalists. The event will be interspersed by performances of the lead pair – Angad and Kripa of Balaji’s new show Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai.
The Indian Idol Abhijeet Sawant will also be joining the musical bandwagon with assortment of patriotic songs. Amit Sana, the runner up of Indian Idol will support him in praise of India. Nandu and Mandy from the show Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin will be performing to the Karisma and Govinda numbers. Performances of Sudesh Bhonsle, Rajeshwari, Shreya Ghosal will also be the favour of the show.
Zee TV and Zee Cinema have lined up colorful programmes back to back for Holi. On 24 March, popular Zee soap characters Disha, Rimjhim, Simran and Kareena will play holi with their reel families. On 25 March, the festivity continues on Antakshari sets with Pakistani and Indian singers splashing colors of Dosti on each other.
Amitabh Bachan and Dharmendra join the celebrations as Zee Cinema showcases the Bollywood epic Sholay on the popular segment Shaniwar Ki Raat Amitabh Ke Saath at 8:30 pm on on 26 March. Sholay is the latest addition to the film festival which was launched on 4 December 2004.

The leading free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service in India has launched Kings of Comedy, a premium comedy channel featuring some of the country’s most beloved primetime shows. Available exclusively on Samsung TV Plus, the channel delivers back-to-back hits including Comedy Nights with Kapil, Khatra Khatra Khatra, and Comedy Nights Bachao, with no login or subscription required.
