AZN announces nominees for best Asian American newcomer award
MUMBAI: US channel AZN Television which is dedicated to serving the burgeoning Asian American community has announced the nominees for the newcomer award.
This will be presented next year at the Asian Excellence Awards Featuring the Remy MartinX.O Honours. The winner will be chosen through on-line voting at www.azntv.com/axa.
The nominees include actors Keiko Agena Gilmore Girls, Mindy Kaling Curb Your Enthusiasm, Ravi Kapoor Crossing Jordan, Katie Leung Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Diane Mizota Memoirs of a Geisha, Three Wishes, Parminder Nagra ER and Navi Rawat for Numb3rs which airs in India on AXN.
The awards show will recognise achievement among Asian Americans in entertainment, sports, music, fashion, science and business. The show will be taped at the Wiltern LG Theatre in Hollywood, California and will air on AZN Television on 29 January, 2006.
AZN’s programming line up includes Asian films, dramas, documentaries and anime.
