Tanvi Rajpal takes charge of branded content at TV9 Network

NEW DELHI: TV9 Network has appointed Tanvi Rajpal as general manager of branded content at Associated Broadcasting Co. Pvt Ltd, marking a significant shift for one of Indian television’s most seasoned sales professionals from pure-play revenue generation into the fast-growing world of branded storytelling.

Rajpal brings 14 years of experience across some of India’s most prominent media organisations. She spent over five years at India Today as assistant general manager of sales, having previously served as manager at the same organisation. Before that, she held the role of account group head at Network18 for six years, one of the longest stints of her career, followed by a brief but impactful spell at Sony Pictures Networks India as senior manager. She has also worked at NewsX as account group head and at Times Network as account director.

Her expertise spans FCT and non-FCT sales, special project sales and 360-degree client solutions, with a strong track record in new business development, team building and talent development.

In her new role, Rajpal will focus on curating and executing tailored branded content campaigns for clients, leveraging TV9 Network’s extensive reach to deliver content that drives meaningful audience engagement. She will work closely with clients to understand their objectives and translate them into compelling content strategies.

Rajpal had been serving as general manager at Associated Broadcasting since April 2025 before formally transitioning into the branded content mandate in June 2026.

With a career built on hitting revenue targets and building high-performing teams, Rajpal now takes on the rather more creative challenge of making branded content that audiences actually want to watch. If her track record is anything to go by, TV9 has found the right person for the job.
