Samsung rolls out AI Week with discounts across devices
Your fridge now talks AI, your TV thinks smarter, and your washing machine apparently knows your fabrics better than you do.
MUMBAI: Samsung has kicked off its annual ‘Samsung AI Week’ shopping carnival in India, betting big on AI-powered living with aggressive discounts across smartphones, TVs, laptops, appliances, wearables and gaming monitors. The sale, now live on Samsung.com, the Samsung Shop App and Samsung Exclusive Stores, is built around the theme “Your Companion to AI Living,” a not-so-subtle reminder that artificial intelligence is no longer confined to chatbots and search bars. It now lives in refrigerators, washing machines, TVs and even air conditioners.
And Samsung wants Indian consumers fully plugged into that ecosystem.
The company is offering discounts of up to 36 per cent on Galaxy smartphones, including flagship devices such as the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26+, Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy S25 series. Buyers can also avail instant bank discounts of up to Rs 25,000.
Galaxy tablets, wearables and accessories are available at up to 60 per cent off, while Galaxy Book laptops are being sold at discounts of up to 37 per cent alongside bank benefits worth up to Rs 5,000.
But the real AI flex sits inside the home.
Samsung’s TV lineup including OLED, Neo QLED, Mini LED, QLED and Crystal UHD models is available at discounts of up to 55 per cent. Select models also come bundled with free TVs, soundbars or customisable bezels, along with exchange bonuses of up to Rs 5,000.
Its newly launched Mini LED TVs, meanwhile, are being positioned as the centrepiece of AI-driven home entertainment, promising enhanced visuals and smarter viewing experiences.
The appliances category is where Samsung’s “AI living” narrative becomes particularly ambitious.
Refrigerators are available at up to 50 per cent off with EMI options extending up to 30 months and bundled “Buy More” offers. Washing machines come with discounts of up to 48 per cent, while select microwaves are being sold at up to 38 per cent off with EMIs starting at Rs 990.
Samsung is also pushing long-term ownership messaging aggressively. Refrigerators come with a 10-year compressor warranty, washing machines offer a 10-year motor warranty, and select air conditioners now include up to five years of comprehensive warranty coverage.
Gamers have not been left out either.
Samsung’s Odyssey OLED gaming monitors are available at up to 60 per cent off, including models featuring 240Hz refresh rates and AI-enabled smart display experiences.
Across categories, consumers can access up to 22.5 per cent instant cashback capped at Rs 21,000 using HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI, Axis Bank and other partner bank cards.
The broader play, however, goes beyond discounts.
As India’s premium electronics market becomes increasingly crowded, Samsung is using AI Week not just as a sales event but as a positioning exercise, one designed to push AI from being a feature into becoming a lifestyle proposition. From phones that translate languages in real time to washing machines that optimise water use based on fabric weight, Samsung is attempting to stitch together an ecosystem where every device talks to another.
Whether consumers truly want their microwave joining the AI revolution remains open to debate. But Samsung is clearly betting they soon will.
