MUMBAI: Every winning innings begins with backing yourself and InsuranceDekho is hoping that confidence will rub off beyond the cricket field. Insurtech platform InsuranceDekho has signed former India captain Sourav Ganguly as its brand ambassador and unveiled its new campaign, ‘Khul Kar Khelo’, aimed at encouraging insurance advisors to expand their businesses and tap into growing opportunities across the country.

The campaign positions insurance advisors as entrepreneurs who navigate risk, build customer trust and strengthen financial security for Indian households. Drawing on Ganguly’s reputation as a fearless captain who backed his team through defining moments, the campaign encourages advisors to take bold steps in growing their businesses with the support of the platform.

The initiative will be rolled out through a television commercial backed by digital and broadcast campaigns. The creative highlights several features available to advisors on InsuranceDekho, including AI-powered tools, instant commission payouts and access to a network that spans 98 per cent of India’s PIN codes.

The campaign reflects the increasing competition among digital insurance platforms to attract and retain advisors, who continue to play a critical role in driving insurance penetration, particularly across smaller towns and rural markets. As insurtech firms look beyond customer acquisition, advisor-focused technology and support services are becoming key differentiators.
