MUMBAI: The caffeine on this show is addictive. Honest, candid, witty and stylish… you must have experienced all of this on ‘Koffee with Karan’ last week, this Sunday meet the frank, forthright and fabulous actress Kareena Kapoor and Bollywood’s favourite chocolate boy hero who makes her world go round… Shahid Kapur. Also, joining the sweet couple is the glamorous and gorgeous actress, Karisma Kapoor. Catch the Kapoors’ chat about their relationships, rumors and their career with Karan Johar, this Sunday, March 4th at 9 p.m. only on Star One and Star World.

Kareena, who was possibly the most irreverent guest on the show in the last season, promises to be even better this time round. From clarifying her problems with Shah Rukh, the Chopras and the Bachchans, she confesses on the show that she is the one who chased Shahid for two months! Kareena also admits that she is a hyper-hysterical girl friend and says, “Shahid is a very good looking guy and his smile can charm a lot of women… so I do get a little nervous.” Shahid talks about the initial insecurities in their relationship, the positive influence they have had on each from Kareena becoming a vegetarian to Shahid becoming more chilled out and relaxed. That’s not all, Karan also tests the couple’s compatibility quotient by quizzing them individually on how much they know about each other. Do they score a 10 on 10? Wait and watch!

But the real show stealer is the rapid fire round where Karan bombards a volley of questions to Shahid & Kareena. Who is the better dancer – Hrithik or Shahid, whom does Kareena chose? Shah Rukh, Hrithik or Aamir, the superstar Kareena loves? The one woman Shahid would cheat on Kareena for? Kareena in Chameli or Kareena in Omkara – which one was a better performance according to Shahid? If this was not enough, Karisma Kapoor is called on to decide the winner of the rapid fire round? Whom does Karisma choose, her brutally honest kid sister Bebo or Shahid? Lot of revelations… Lot of tongue-in-cheek moments… definitely a must watch!

Excerpts from the interview:

Karan: Three years Shahid, with Kareena ..How would you best define your relationship?

Shahid: It goes beyond words .. She is the centre of my life .. I can’t think of a day without her .. I am very thankful to God for having her in my life … I think I am very lucky …

Karan: Is she the hyper hysterical girlfriend .. Is she the where you are, what you are doing kind of girl friend …

Shahid: She has calmed a lot in the last three years .. but I think every woman has these insecurities .. and I think it takes the two people to understand and deal with each others’ areas of ups and downs .. but I think .. yes I am sure she has .. and so do I have these phases of insecurities which we all do .. I think she has come to trust me a lot ..it takes time for things to settle down ..

Karan: You take up for Shahid a lot .. is that true?

Karisma: Yes I do ..

Karan: In what way .. what does he do .. that he needs taking up for?

Karisma: Well, I mean generally … when they are fighting with each other. I am always caught in the middle of it .. and if I really feel that Shahid is right then I really fire Bebo …

MUMBAI: Ridhi Dogra just sent a postcard from Hong Kong that’s worth framing because when a bustling metropolis reveals its quiet trails and timeless traditions, even the skyline takes a back seat. National Geographic has unveiled Postcards from Hong Kong, a refreshing travel series hosted and curated by actor Ridhi Dogra. Produced by National Geographic Creative Works in collaboration with the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the show offers an intimate, Indian traveller’s perspective on one of Asia’s most iconic cities, moving beyond its glittering harbour and skyscrapers to uncover serene beaches, scenic hiking trails and deep cultural traditions.

Across three visually rich episodes, Ridhi journeys through contrasting sides of Hong Kong. The first episode takes her on a quieter path of self-discovery to places like Sai Kung, Big Wave Bay, Dragon’s Back, Tai O, Ngong Ping, Po Lin Monastery and the Tian Tan Buddha. The second episode dives into the city’s energetic side, from the bustling streets of Causeway Bay to Happy Valley Racecourse, Michelin-starred spots and luxury shopping at Landmark.

Ridhi Dogra said, “Being part of Postcards from Hong Kong with Nat Geo was a deeply enriching experience. What I love about this journey is that it goes beyond the obvious; it’s not just about the skyline or the speed of the city but about the stories that live in its quieter corners.”
