Lycra MTV Style Awards 2006 Ties-up with Jaan-e-Mann !
Film Jaan-e-Mann’s Preity Zinta, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar to Rock the Ramp at the LYCRA ® MTV Style Awards 2006
Mumbai, October 6th 2006 – LYCRA® MTV Style Awards 2006 has tied-up with the much-awaited, star-studded film, ‘Jaan-e-Mann’ to add more style and glamour to its already impressive line-up of stylish people at this year’s show. So, get ready to see the ramp go up in flames, as stunning Preity Zinta, eternally sexy Salman Khan and king of cool, Akshay Kumar walk the ramp as a special promotion for their forthcoming film ‘Jaan-e-Mann’. These glittering stars and more will take centre stage on October 14th at the NCPA, Homi Bhabha Auditorium, Mumbai.
In keeping with the tradition of the LYCRA® MTV Style Awards where numerous stars have presented special showcases, this year too, the super-stylish stars of Jaan-e-Mann will walk the red carpet for a show-stopping presentation.
Commenting on the association, Producer of Jaan-e-Mann, Sajid Nadiadwala said, “Jaan-e-Mann is my most grand production to date and there could not have been a more befitting platform than the LYCRA® MTV Style Awards for the first-ever live showcase of my film. Not only does the LYCRA® MTV Style Awards constitute the most stylish icons of the country from across films, fashion, etc., it also offers Jaan-e-Mann an opportunity to reach out to the young audience in a very stylized and grand manner.”
The showcase by the Jaan-e-Mann stars will only add to the already glamorous event that will feature designers Neeta Lulla, Ritu Kumar, JJ Valaya, and Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna and Suneet Verma presenting their lines in keeping with the theme for the year – ‘Celebrating Style’. This coupled with Karan Johar as the host for the evening, we’re sure to have one star-studded event. So bring out those champagne glasses and roll out that red carpet, ‘coz this celebration just keeps getting bigger and better!!
