Zee – Shiv Sena issue over Gaurav Awards skit resolved
MUMBAI: It is finally peace between Zee Network and Shiv Sena. Kaka Mala Vachva, the play shown during the Zee Marathi Gaurav Awards was discussed today at a private meeting held between Zee Network chairman Subhash Chandra and Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackrey, states an official statement from Zee.
Commenting on the subject, Zee Marathi business head Nitin Vaidya says, The play was not intended to hurt the sentiments of the Thackrey family, however, we would like to apologize if we have hurt their sentiments.
Uddhav Thackrey also clarified that the Thackrey family has no grievances over the issue and this matter should be considered as resolved, the release adds.
