GOA : Zee seems to be keeping its winning streak very much on air. Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., popularly known as ‘Z’, has once again clinched the coveted Broadcaster of the Year title at the ABBY Awards 2026, marking its fourth consecutive win at the prestigious industry event held during Goafest.

The media and entertainment network also walked away with 15 metals this year, including three gold, six silver, five bronze and one merit award, further reinforcing its stronghold in India’s linear television entertainment space. The company’s biggest wins came across multiple regional and movie channels, reflecting the growing strength of its diverse content portfolio. Channels including Zee Kannada, Zee Bangla, Zee Marathi and Zee Cinema secured honours across several categories.

Among the highlights, Zee won gold for the launch campaign of Sri Raghavendra Mahathme under the category of best launch of a TV programme using multimedia. Meanwhile, the television premiere campaign for Pushpa 2: The Rule on Zee Cinema earned two additional gold awards, including recognition for best TV programme launch using multimedia and best movie promo by a TV channel.

The latest win further strengthens Zee’s positioning in a highly competitive broadcast market where television networks are increasingly balancing traditional viewership with evolving digital consumption habits.

Commenting on the achievement, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. company spokesperson said, “Winning Broadcaster of the Year for the fourth consecutive year is a firm testament to our unwavering focus on delivering high-quality, engaging content that resonates with audiences at scale.” The spokesperson added that the recognition reflects the collective efforts of teams and creative partners who continue to push storytelling boundaries across genres and regional markets.

Over the past year, the network has expanded its focus on character-driven narratives and culturally rooted stories as part of a wider omni-channel content strategy. The company says this approach has helped strengthen audience engagement and improve its position across key regional entertainment markets.

According to the company, Zee currently holds a 17.4 per cent market share, maintaining leadership positions across Hindi, Bangla, Odia and Kannada entertainment segments, alongside the continued performance of Zee Cinema. Industry observers note that the repeated ABBY recognition reflects the continued importance of strong regional programming and event television in India’s entertainment landscape, even as streaming platforms continue to grow rapidly.

For Zee, the latest ABBY Awards sweep signals that while viewing habits may be evolving, compelling storytelling and mass entertainment still remain prime-time winners.
