Zee files writ in the Supreme Court

NEW DELHI: It has finally happened. Zee Telefilms filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court today, challenging the cancellation of an earlier tender process by the Indian cricket board involving telecast rights of international and domestic cricket held in the country.

The hearing would begin on Friday, 24 September.

As per early indications, the petition challenges the cricket board’s move under Article 32 of the Indian Constitution.

This is just the beginning of a nail-biter of a match. So stay tuned for more.
