Vikas Bahl plots film on conjoined twins
MUMBAI: After tackling a sensitive subject of cruelty to animals in Chillar Party, director Vikas Bahl is all set to tackle another sensitive subject: that of conjoined twins.
The film is being scripted by Sanjay Chel and Bahl. Salman Khan will play the lead role.
Bahl said, “I am writing a film on conjoined twins. I am in the process of finishing the script and wanted Sanjay Chel on the project. So, both of us are finishing it.”
It is said that after seeing Chillar Party, Khan loved it so much that he agreed to lend his name as producer of the film and went all out to promote it. Bahl will cash on the rapport between them.
Observed Chel, “It is a sensitive subject but there have been fun films like Stuck on You in the past. I had seen the film long back and our film has nothing to do with it. The whole idea is to put together two different sides of interesting characters and see what happens. It will be a commercial, edgy, fun film and that‘s all I can say at the moment.”

Naila Grrewal slots in at seven on the back of the returning comedy series Maamla Legal Hai, while Rashmika Mandanna climbs to eighth, riding mounting anticipation for Cocktail 2.
The list, available exclusively on the IMDb app for Android and iOS, tracks trending Indian entertainers and filmmakers each week, drawing on data from more than 200m monthly visits to the platform worldwide.
Further down the rankings, Raaka is keeping two of its biggest names in the spotlight. Deepika Padukone holds 11th position, with Allu Arjun close behind at 13th, as the film continues to find traction with audiences.
