Unicef executive director on CNN’s ‘Talk Asia’

 The next episode of CNN's chat show Talk Asia on 19 March at 9:30 am will feature The United Nations' Children Fund's (Unicef) executive director Carol Bellamy.

CNN's Stan Grant speaks to Bellamy in Beijing about her first hand experiences working with victims of the devastating Asian Tsunami and its impact on children.

During the half-hour interview, Bellamy also discusses the relief and reconstruction efforts currently underway in the Tsunami affected areas such as Sri Lanka and Indonesia, and the response from the international community.

She also dwells on Unicef's focus on children and their rights, the problem of Aids, and the measures that governments in Asia are taking to confront the problem of child trafficking.
