StarOne gets innovative with unique reality-fitness show

MUMBAI: For the first time, Indian television will see a fitness-reality show where overweight individuals will seem themselves get fit in 100 days. Star One launches Figure it Out which debuts on 3 January, Monday – Friday, at 7:30 am and a repeat telecast at 6:30 pm.

This daily reality fitness show is aimed at giving viewers an opportunity to train from the confines of their homes along with four participants who would chart their fitness regime over 100 days. The four individuals are all young but overweight, and will go through an interesting routine each morning to shed those extra kilos all in 100 days.

In sync with the motto:’ from start up to shape up!’ Figure it Out will guide the four participants as well as the viewers through a simple yet disciplined weight loss and stay fit programme.

Said Star India executive vice president content Deepak Segal,” Star One’s content has revolved around innovative programming concepts and stylized presentation. Figure it Out is a step further in providing viewers the best. The show with its simple health mantra – lose weight and stay fit, promises to change your existing lifestyle.”

The show is being hosted by two fitness experts, Simmi Sakuja and Rajiv Kuchroo who aim to help the participants as well as the audience start their day in a very healthy and perfect way irrespective of the pressures at work and not so healthy environment.

MUMBAI: Samsung TV Plus has just turned up the laughter volume and it’s completely free. The leading free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) service in India has launched Kings of Comedy, a premium comedy channel featuring some of the country’s most beloved primetime shows. Available exclusively on Samsung TV Plus, the channel delivers back-to-back hits including Comedy Nights with Kapil, Khatra Khatra Khatra, and Comedy Nights Bachao, with no login or subscription required.

The launch marks a milestone for free streaming in India, offering audiences a dedicated comedy destination directly from their Samsung TV home screen.
