Sony Pictures Television International picks up Russian reality show
MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) has acquired a Russian reality show How to Build Your Love from Turner Network Television (TNT). This is the first time that an American company has picked up a format from this territory.
How To Build Your Love is the English version of House-2. The show, first showcased at 2004 Mipcom, has been airing on TNT for over a year.
The series sees 15 young men and women forming romantic relationships as they work together to create a love nest in which to start a family. The winning couple claims the newly-erected $120,000 home.
SPTI has purchased the rights on production of the reality-show in Latin America and Spanish-speaking US states.

The platform now offers over 180 free channels across 14 languages.
Samsung TV Plus India general manager and head of business development Kunal Mehta said, “Comedy is the heartbeat of Hindi entertainment, and Kings of Comedy brings together the shows Indians already love, completely free on their Samsung TV. Our focus remains the same take the content people know and make it effortless to access.”
Globally, Samsung TV Plus has surpassed 100 million monthly active users across more than 4,500 channels, solidifying its position as one of the world’s leading free streaming services.
