Sony Pictures Networks India elevates Akshay Agrawal as head of linear ad sales

Mumbai: Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has promoted Akshay Agrawal as head of linear ad sales, tasking him with strengthening advertiser partnerships and delivering high-impact, insight-led solutions for brands. Agrawal will report to Rajesh Kaul, chief revenue officer and business head, sports and international.

With 22 years at SPNI, Agrawal brings deep expertise across sports, movies, free-to-air and Hindi general entertainment channels. He has successfully led multiple high-value portfolios, repositioning linear TV as a powerful platform for brand impact in a rapidly converging TV and digital market.

“Akshay’s leadership and strategic vision have consistently driven strong results. In this expanded role, he will deepen partner value and take our linear ad sales to the next level,” said Kaul.
