Celeb after celeb has walked the talk on NDTV 24*7. And now its Sonia Gandhi's turn to do the same.
The lady who has weaved her way in a dramatic way to become the President of India's century-old Congress party can be seen on the channel's show Walk the Talk with noted journalist and Indian Express editor Shekar Gupta on Saturday 28 February at 7.30 pm.
After her husband Rajiv Gandhi's death, Sonia found herself become the force behind the Congress party. She now leads the Congress campaign as it prepares for yet another Indian national election. She is a strong contender for the PM's post. But Sonia maintains the fact that becoming PM is not her priority.
This is the first time that Gandhi will speak at length with candour and confidence on the one issue that has stalked her since she stepped into the political arena – her origin outside India. The repeat telecast of the show will be aired on Sunday 29 February at 10.30 am. Stay clued!
