Release of Ragini MMS 2 postponed
MUMBAI: What was supposed to be the second outing of porn star-turned-reality TV star-turned actor, Sunny Leone seems to be facing a hurdle.
The film that has been produced by Balalji Motion Pictures was earlier supposed to release in October, 2013. However, an official announcement was made by Balaji that it would release on January 10. Now, with another announcement, the release has been rescheduled to March 21.
The film in being billed as a ‘horrex’ – a combination of horror and sex and is the sequel of the 2011 sleeper hit, Ragini MMS.
The reason for this change is said to be the VFX and upgrading work.
In a statement issued to the press, Balaji’s Ekta Kapoor said, “We need substantial time to bring quality visual effects to the big screen. After the success of the first film, the bar has been raised. The Ragini MMS sequel promises to be the sexiest and scariest date movie ever.”
