Production starts on ABC comedy ‘Crumbs’
MUMBAI: US broadcaster ABC has announced that the production work has begun in Los Angeles on Crumbs. The comedy will air later on the Disney owned broadcaster.
The family comedy deals with two estranged brothers — Mitch played by Fred Savage and Jody Crumb. They reunite in their small hometown to deal with their mother, Suzanne played by two time Emmy Award-winner Jane Curtin, (3rd Rock from the Sun) who has just been released from a psychiatric facility. She has yet to discover her ex-husband, Billy played by William Devane (24) is about to have a baby with his new girlfriend.
Central to everything is the dynamic between Mitch, the prodigal son who is returning home after a failed Hollywood career, and Jody, the older brother who stayed behind to run the family restaurant business.
