Liz Hurley to host fashion reality show ‘Project Catwalk’
MUMBAI: Hollywood actress Liz Hurley who has been making noises in India due to her relationship with Arun Nayyar is all set to host a reality television show.
Project Catwalk aims at unearthing new names in fashion design. The show is scheduled to launch in February 2006.
Hurley will present the UK version of the Bravo series Project Runway, which will air on Sky One next year.
The programme, which will be filmed in London, will see budding designers battling it out to make it to the industry, according to media reports.
Established industry figures will comprise of a panel of judges. As the show progress each week will see elimination of 24 contenders.
Finally, three finalists will display their work on Project Catwalk. The winners’ designs will be photographed by a world- renowned photographer for a top glossy magazine.
Media reports further indicate that Hurley recently launched the Elizabeth Hurley Beach collection.
