Hungama announces its 20 TV Captains
MUMBAI: Hungama TV has announced the 20 TV captains who will eventually “decide” the programming of the channel. Kids from Bangalore, Lucknow, Indore, Kolkata, Delhi, Pune, Jaipur and Ludhiana figured in the winners list.
Kids will be an integral part of the decision making process, right from identifying the need for such a channel to creating and selecting its content. The 20 selected kids will visit Mumbai once every six months and also will be monitoring the programming from their home towns.
Hungama TV COO Purnendu Bose said, “The Captains Hunt is a definitive step towards the channel’s commitment to deliver quality multi-genre entertainment to Indian kids. It primarily seeks to give kids a platform to showcase their personalities.”
Bose added further, “The promotional drive will take off soon and will target children in their schools and wherever kids gather often, such as restaurants, kids shops, etc.”
“The other 20 who did not become captains will also be associated as part of the marketing strategy,” Bose added.
