Dubai video bags award at Karlovy Vary
A Dubai government produced video has bagged the best video award at the 34th International Film Festival and 3rd Tourist Multimedia Festival held in Karlovy Vary recently.
The ten minute video, Dubai Means Business, was created by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and highlights Dubai's transformation from a leading regional trading hub into an international business centre of global significance. The DTCM uses the video to emphasise Dubai's commercial attractions to the international business community.
The DTCM video won the award in the sub-category – videos and films appointed to presentation of countries, national boards, regions and cities. There were 58 competitors for the award, according to the DTCM.
The video is shown around the world at DTCM seminars, presentations, trade fairs and other commerce promotions.
