CNBC TV18’s ‘brainstorming’ seminar on India Inc
MUMBAI: Business channel CNBC TV18 held an event ‘Managing India Brainstorm VII’, in association with Sun Microsystems and Wipro Infotech at Taj Westend, Bangalore today.
The seminar brought together the leading minds from diverse streams of the industry.
The panel of speakers, moderated by CNBC-TV18’s Raghav Bahl, comprised vice chairman and MD of ABB Ravi Uppal, vice chairman and MD of Philips India K Ramachandran; chairman and MD of Indian Bank Ranjana Kumar; CEO of CRISIL Ravi Mohan, and senior editor of The Economic Times Narendra Pani, among others. The brainstorm session focused on ‘Is India Inc ready to invest again?”
Among the topics discussed in the sessions were: Is India Inc really feeling confident?, Do CEO’s feel they have got a clear grip on their businesses vis-?-vis the globalize scenario?, Have companies got rid of the vestiges of the past?, Do we need to add more manufacturing capacity?, and Is India Inc now clear about where they stand in the globalize order?
