CCC celebrates 5th anniversary; records consistent growth

MUMBAI: Hathway Cable and Datacom’s movie and entertainment channel, Cine Channel (CCC), celebrates its fifth year of existence today. The channel, which was launched on October 1998, claims to have seen consistent growth ever since.
Today, CCC says it reaches 5.1 million viewers in 43 cities across the nation. Of that, its viewership in Mumbai itself covers 12,73,000 households. In Thane, it reaches an estimated 1,20,000 households and in Pune 1,52,000 households.
Besides, the channel claims to reach smaller pockets of Maharashtra like Nagpur. Chinchwad and Akola. In the North, CCC had a decent reach of 7,20,000 households in Delhi; and in Lucknow and Ludhiana it is 85,000.
CCC, the predominantly Hindi channel, states that it’s viewership is not restricted to the West and North. In Chennai, it boasts of reaching 10,15,000 households and in Bangalore 3,25,000.
