Leadership promotion highlights Zepto’s focus on growth, monetisation and scale
BENGALURU: Quick commerce major Zepto has elevated Roohi Raj to the position of vice president, marking a key leadership move as the company continues to scale its operations and strengthen its organisational structure.
Raj announced the development on social media, expressing gratitude for the opportunities and experiences during her journey with the company.
“Grateful for the trust, opportunities, and the incredible people I’ve had the privilege to learn from and work alongside,” said Raj. “Looking forward to building what comes next.”
The promotion comes after a steady rise within the company. Raj joined Zepto in 2024 as senior director and has been associated with its growth phase during a period of rapid expansion in India’s quick commerce sector. She was elevated to vice president in April 2026.
Before joining Zepto, Raj held leadership roles at Meesho, where she worked on monetisation and business strategy, and at Swiggy, where she focused on strategic initiatives. Her earlier career includes experience at PwC, where she worked as a senior associate, and at NVIDIA, where she contributed to GPU design analysis and performance modelling across gaming, cloud and automotive applications.
Her academic background includes a postgraduate programme in management from the Indian School of Business, which has contributed to her cross-functional expertise across technology, strategy and business operations.
The elevation reflects Zepto’s continued investment in experienced leadership as the quick commerce market intensifies competition and companies race to improve unit economics, scale operations and deepen customer engagement.
As Zepto expands its footprint across Indian metros, leadership moves such as Raj’s promotion underline the company’s focus on combining operational execution with strategic growth capabilities in a fast-evolving sector.
