Veeba enters chutney category with new Heritage range
New line brings regional Indian flavours to convenient, ready-to-use formats
New Delhi: Veeba is expanding beyond its core sauces, mayonnaise, dressings and condiments portfolio with the launch of Veeba Heritage, marking the brand’s entry into India’s chutney category.
The new range draws inspiration from regional Indian culinary traditions and brings familiar flavour profiles into ready-to-use formats designed for contemporary eating habits. The initial portfolio includes Chunky Mango Chutney and Tomato Date Chutney.
With Veeba Heritage, the brand is looking to tap into a distinctly Indian taste space while building on its existing expertise in condiments. The range takes cues from the country’s diverse food cultures, local ingredients and regional cooking techniques, adapting them for everyday use.
The products are available nationwide through leading quick commerce platforms, Veeba’s direct-to-consumer channels and modern trade outlets.
The launch is being supported by a digital campaign that explores the flavours and culinary traditions behind the range, while highlighting the different occasions in which consumers can use the products.
VRB Consumer Products, founder and managing director, Viraj Bahl, said, “One of the most remarkable things about food in India is how dramatically the palate can change every hundred kilometres. The same ingredient is understood differently across regions, shaped by local produce, techniques and ideas of balance. That depth and diversity gives us an extraordinary culinary heritage to draw from. With Veeba Heritage, our ambition is to bring some of these distinctive expressions to modern tables in a format that is relevant to how people eat today.”
The launch gives Veeba an entry point into a category closely tied to India’s regional food culture, while offering the brand room to expand the range over time.
With its first two products now in market, Veeba plans to explore more regional flavour profiles as it looks to bring India’s culinary diversity into convenient formats for modern consumers.
