MUMBAI: Swati Gosain has added another stripe to her long run at Sony Pictures Networks India, rising to associate vice-president and region head, HGEC cluster, after close to nine years with the broadcaster.
The promotion, announced by Gosain on LinkedIn last month, marks the latest chapter in a career built steadily through the ranks of television, radio and media sales.
In her post, Gosain said she was “grateful and humbled” by the recognition, adding that every conversation, lesson and milestone had helped shape the journey. She also thanked colleagues and mentors who had been part of her growth and looked ahead to “building, growing, and making the next chapter even more meaningful”.
Gosain joined Sony Pictures Networks India in November 2017 as assistant manager, ad sales. She moved up to manager, ad sales, HGEC cluster, in February 2021 before becoming group head, ad sales, HGEC cluster, in June 2023. In April 2026, she stepped into her current role as associate vice-president and regional head of the HGEC cluster.
Before joining Sony, she spent more than four years in advertising sales at Star TV Network. Earlier stints included roles as senior account manager at Red FM and account manager at Radio Mirchi, both based in Kanpur.
From radio waves to television screens, Gosain’s ascent has been marked by persistence and a knack for selling audiences to brands. With a bigger brief now on her shoulders, the next act is already under way.
