Saffola Gold launches ‘Dil Se Ladies First’ campaign for women’s heart health
Marico’s latest campaign urges women to put their own heart health first ahead of World Heart Day
MUMBAI: It’s time to put the heart before the household. Saffola Gold’s latest campaign is reminding women that caring for everyone else shouldn’t come at the cost of caring for themselves.
Ahead of World Heart Day, Marico-owned Saffola Gold has rolled out Dil Se Ladies First, a new campaign that shines a spotlight on women’s heart health and the subtle warning signs that often go unnoticed in the rush of everyday life.
Built around a simple but powerful insight women frequently put their families’ well-being ahead of their own, the campaign encourages women and those around them to pay attention to symptoms such as breathlessness, persistent fatigue and unexplained uneasiness, which are often brushed aside as part of a busy routine.
At the heart of the campaign is a digital film that captures an emotional mother-daughter relationship. It begins with a mother climbing a flight of stairs, visibly out of breath, before her daughter notices that something feels off. As the tension builds and the sound of a heartbeat grows louder, the film highlights how easily women tend to dismiss these signals while juggling daily responsibilities.
The film closes with Saffola Gold’s message, Dil Se Ladies First urging women to listen to their bodies and make their own health a priority, rather than treating it as an afterthought.
Vikram Karwal, Chief Marketing Officer, Marico Limited, said the campaign is rooted in the brand’s long-standing focus on proactive heart care.
He said Dil Se Ladies First aims to inspire women to pay greater attention to their own well-being while encouraging families to notice the signs that often go overlooked. He added that putting oneself first is not selfish, but essential.
With World Heart Day around the corner, Saffola Gold’s campaign shifts the conversation from kitchen care to self-care, reminding women that the strongest heartbeat in the family deserves attention too.
