LatentView names Sonal Ramrakhiani new CEO

CHENNAI: A fresh view for LatentView. LatentView Analytics has appointed Sonal Ramrakhiani as its new chief executive officer, marking a leadership transition as the company accelerates its global AI-led growth ambitions.

Ramrakhiani assumed the role on 15 July 2026, succeeding Rajan Sethuraman, who has led the company since 2019. Sethuraman will remain with the company as strategic advisor to the chief executive officer for up to six months, ensuring a smooth leadership handover.

The appointment comes as the AI-driven analytics, data engineering and consulting company sharpens its focus on expanding its footprint in the Americas and Europe while strengthening its AI-first strategy for enterprise customers.

Ramrakhiani brings more than two decades of global leadership experience across technology, engineering and business transformation. Most recently, she led the Engineering Edge business in the Americas at Wipro, where she focused on driving growth, strengthening customer relationships and scaling technology-led businesses.

An alumna of the Tata Administrative Services, she has also held several senior leadership roles within the Tata Group, including serving as chief operating officer and president, sales for the automotive business at Tata Technologies. Based in the United States, she is expected to lead LatentView’s expansion across North America and other strategic international markets.

LatentView Analytics, founder and chairperson, Venkat Viswanathan said the board was pleased to welcome Ramrakhiani as chief executive officer, describing her global experience, customer-centric approach and proven ability to scale high-performing businesses as the right combination to lead the company’s next phase of AI and analytics growth.

He also thanked Sethuraman for his contribution over the past decade, highlighting his role in steering the company through its successful initial public offering and the acquisition of Decision Point. Viswanathan said Sethuraman leaves behind a strong foundation that positions the company well for future growth.

She said LatentView has built a strong reputation for delivering business outcomes through data, analytics and AI, supported by long-standing client relationships and deep technical expertise. She added that her focus would be on accelerating international growth, strengthening innovation capabilities and creating long-term value for clients, employees and shareholders.

Ramrakhiani also acknowledged Sethuraman’s leadership, saying she looked forward to working closely with him during the transition to ensure continuity and position the company for its next chapter.

During her career at Wipro, Ramrakhiani held a series of leadership positions spanning enterprise technology strategy, market expansion and AI-driven business transformation. She also serves on the board of Titan North America and has been recognised among the Top 100 Leading Women in the North American Automotive Industry.
