Sahej Grover joins Tata Technologies as director, brand, digital and communications
The marketer, with more than 16 years across HCL Technologies, the Confederation of Indian Industry and L&T Technology Services, takes charge of the engineering firm’s brand story from Bengaluru
Brand first, noise second. Sahej Grover has joined Tata Technologies as director, brand, digital and communications, taking up the post in September 2026 in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Grover is clear about what the job demands. “In today’s B2B landscape, brand building goes beyond individual campaigns or channels.” In his view it is about a differentiated, consistent narrative across digital touchpoints, content, social media, analyst relations and media engagement, with every interaction building awareness, credibility and trust. At Tata Technologies, he looks forward to working with the team to bring these disciplines together, amplifying the company’s story and strengthening its engagement with customers, industry analysts, media and the wider ecosystem as it continues to expand across markets.
He arrives with more than 16 years of experience in strategic marketing and communications, brand strategy, corporate affairs and policy advocacy, with specialisation in brand initiatives, corporate marketing and direct marketing. His focus is on enhancing efficiency, competitiveness and business opportunities through strategic marketing.
The freshest chapter is L&T Technology Services in Bengaluru, where Grover spent six years and nine months. He began as manager, global brand, Europe geo marketing, from January 2020 to June 2022, a spell of two years and six months. He became senior manager, global brand and social media, from July 2022 to February 2026, three years and eight months, with skills in campaigns and brand management. His last post was group manager, global brand, social media and employer branding, from March 2026 to September 2026, with skills in brand marketing and brand strategy.
Before that came five years and five months at the Confederation of Indian Industry in the Greater Delhi area. Grover was executive officer, international (Europe region), from September 2014 to February 2018, three years and six months, and then deputy director, international (Europe region), from March 2018 to January 2020, one year and 11 months.
The foundations were laid at HCL Technologies in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, over three years and seven months. He started as associate executive, corporate marketing, from February 2011 to March 2012, working with the internal account management team on campaigns for specific verticals to build awareness, visibility and the sales funnel, with customer segmentation and campaign tracking. He became executive, strategic marketing, from April 2012 to March 2013, part of a specialist group delivering end-to-end campaigns for demand generation and brand awareness through digital marketing and market research. He also handled post-event analysis, using CRM systems to give the business data-driven answers, and mapped organisational structures and IT landscapes to identify opportunities. As senior executive, strategic marketing, from April 2013 to August 2014, he conceptualised, planned and executed campaigns for one of the company’s most strategic business units, using print, digital, client visits, direct marketing and events within budget. He also supported end-to-end deals with sales and delivery teams, influencing large request-for-proposal (RFX) opportunities through integrated marketing support.
His student years were busy too. Grover interned at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited from May to July 2010, analysing the effectiveness of SAP-HR implementation, and at HCL Infosystems Ltd. from May to July 2008, surveying campus recruitment patterns of seven IT companies to suggest improvements to the firm’s recruitment strategy.
Grover thanked Komal Chhabra for the confidence placed in him, and says he looks forward to working closely with her and the wider leadership team. He also thanked Vaishali Madavi for her support, and Disha and Frenzina for a smooth and welcoming onboarding. His sign-off is about “engineering a better world with Tata Technologies”.
The fit makes sense. B2B engineering firms win on trust, and trust is built through consistent storytelling to customers, analysts and the press. Grover has spent a career doing just that, from the corporate lobby in Delhi to the global brand desk in Bengaluru.
