LatentView Analytics appoints Sudha Sankaran as independent director
Alstom Global Finance Centres managing director joins board to bolster governance and growth
CHENNAI: LatentView Analytics is adding more financial firepower to its boardroom. LatentView Analytics has appointed Sudha Sankaran as an independent director as the AI-driven analytics firm looks to strengthen corporate governance while expanding its global consulting and data analytics business.
In her new role, Sankaran will provide strategic guidance on corporate governance, financial strategy and operational excellence as the company scales its artificial intelligence, data engineering and consulting capabilities across international markets.
Sankaran brings more than 25 years of experience in finance leadership, operations, strategic analysis and profit and loss management across multiple industries. She currently serves as managing director of Alstom Global Finance Centres and has spent more than a decade with Alstom.
Before joining Alstom, she held senior finance positions at General Motors’s Technical Centre India, Ford Motor Company and other organisations in both India and the United States.
Beyond finance, Sankaran is recognised for leading large-scale organisational transformation, change management and cost optimisation programmes. She has also chaired women’s councils and Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) committees across organisations, advocating workplace diversity and inclusion.

Sankaran holds an MBA in general management from Simmons University in the US and is also a chartered accountant and cost accountant. Her appointment comes as LatentView Analytics continues to invest in AI-led consulting services, with governance and strategic oversight becoming increasingly important as enterprises accelerate their adoption of data-driven technologies.
