India, South Africa ODI ‘Man of the Series’ to get Ford Fiesta
MUMBAI: The Ford car brand Fiesta will be awarded to the ‘Man of the Series’ of the One Day International series being played between India and South Africa. The car will be presented to the Man of the Series at the last ODI on 28 November, at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium
It’s a first for Ford India-backing a cricket series and offering the car as an award to the ‘Man of the Series’ in India . The series which began yesterday with Hyderabad will go to Bangalore, Madras, Kolkatta and Bombay, according to an official release.
“Cricket creates an exciting mood in the country. With this association, we will leverage the reach of the game to build a greater appeal for the Fiesta in the country. Commenting on the ‘Man of the Series’ award being sponsored by Ford”, says Ford India president & MD.
The company has been planning to back cricket for a while now and has also signed up Bollywood heart-throb Abhishek Bachchan for its brand ambassador. This is Abhishek Bachchan’s first brand endorsement, the release adds.

Mahuli brings over 24 years of experience across the insurance and automotive sectors. He has previously held leadership roles at Reliance General Insurance, ICICI Lombard General Insurance and Tata Motors, where he worked on scaling businesses and strengthening distribution networks.
