ICICI Lombard appoints Harshit Bhende as digital marketing manager

Former Enrich and Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund executive joins insurer’s marketing team

MUMBAI: Harshit Bhende is taking the insurance route after a career built on performance marketing. The digital marketing professional has joined ICICI Lombard as digital marketing manager, marking the latest step in his journey across financial services and consumer brands.

Bhende announced the appointment on LinkedIn, describing it as an exciting new chapter and expressing enthusiasm about joining one of India’s leading general insurance companies.

“I’m delighted to share that I’ve joined ICICI Lombard as a Digital Marketing Manager,” he wrote. He added that he looks forward to learning, contributing and growing alongside the company’s team.

Bhende also thanked Tanmay Ahuja for placing confidence in him and supporting his transition into the new role.

Before joining ICICI Lombard, Bhende served as deputy manager, performance marketing at Enrich, where he was responsible for driving digital performance initiatives during his eight-month stint with the beauty and wellness brand.

Earlier, he spent more than three and a half years at Aditya Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund, progressing through multiple roles from digital marketing trainee to assistant manager and later deputy manager, performance marketing. During this period, he managed campaigns across Google Ads and Meta platforms, worked extensively with Google Analytics 4, led digital branding initiatives and contributed to lead generation and performance-driven marketing programmes.

Alongside his professional career, Bhende is pursuing an Executive MBA in marketing at SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. He previously completed a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and media studies from M.L. Dahanukar College, graduating with a CGPI of 8.85.

Bhende’s appointment reflects ICICI Lombard’s continued focus on strengthening its digital marketing capabilities as insurers increasingly compete for customers through data-led campaigns and digital engagement. With experience spanning financial services and consumer-facing brands, he brings a performance marketing background that aligns with the industry’s growing emphasis on measurable customer acquisition and digital growth.
