Fairmont Mumbai to host India’s first Longevity Summit this August
Le Florence India partnership brings global experts together to explore healthspan and biohacking
MUMBAI: Living longer is one goal. Living better is becoming the bigger conversation. Tapping into the growing interest in preventive healthcare and healthy ageing, Fairmont Mumbai and Le Florence India have announced the launch of Longevity Summit India 2026, a first-of-its-kind platform dedicated to longevity science, biohacking and human performance.
Scheduled for 15 and 16 August 2026 at Fairmont Mumbai, the summit aims to bring together leading scientists, clinicians, biohackers, wellness experts, entrepreneurs, investors and luxury brands to explore the future of preventive healthcare, personalised medicine and healthy ageing.
The event comes at a time when the focus of healthcare is shifting from simply increasing lifespan to improving healthspan, with growing interest in science-backed wellness, advanced diagnostics and personalised interventions.
The two-day summit will examine the convergence of science, medicine, technology, hospitality and lifestyle, while showcasing innovations in longevity research and human performance. Organisers say the platform is designed to foster collaboration across disciplines and position India as an emerging player in the global longevity ecosystem.
The initiative also builds on Fairmont Mumbai’s wellness offerings, including Fairmont Spa & Longevity and Blu Xone, which the hotel describes as India’s first luxury-integrated longevity hub. These facilities combine preventive healthcare, advanced therapies and personalised longevity programmes as part of the property’s wellness strategy.
Commenting on the announcement, Fairmont Mumbai general manager Rajiv Kapoor said, “The conversation around wellness is evolving rapidly, and longevity is increasingly becoming one of its most important pillars. Longevity Summit India is a natural extension of our vision at Fairmont Mumbai.”
He added, “Through Fairmont Spa & Longevity and Blu Xone, we have been building experiences centred around preventive wellness and long-term vitality. The summit allows us to take that conversation beyond the hotel and create a meaningful platform that brings together global perspectives, scientific innovation and expertise.”
Le Florence India managing director Vikramjeet Sharma said the initiative is intended to become more than a one-off event.
“Longevity Summit India is envisioned as a movement rather than a moment. Our ambition is to create a future-facing platform that inspires dialogue, collaboration and innovation around one of the most important conversations of our time, how we can leverage science, technology and preventive healthcare to help people live healthier, longer lives,” Le Florence India managing director Vikramjeet Sharma said.
The summit’s scientific programme is being curated by Arpit Bansal, who will work with an international faculty of experts to ensure discussions are grounded in scientific evidence while encouraging new thinking around longevity.
“India has the opportunity to become a global leader in longevity by combining cutting-edge science with its rich heritage of preventive health and holistic well-being,” Longevity Summit India 2026 chief scientific curator Dr. Arpit Bansal said.
He added that the summit aims to create a platform where researchers, clinicians, innovators and biohackers can exchange ideas and help shape the future of human healthspan.
Further details on the programme, speakers, partnerships and immersive experiences will be announced in the coming weeks. With its inaugural edition, Longevity Summit India hopes to place India firmly on the global map for longevity science while encouraging conversations that extend well beyond living longer to living healthier.
