Brianne Herman Reedy joins OpenAI as B2B integrated marketing lead
Herman Reedy moves into full-time role after five months as a marketing contractor
NEW YORK: Brianne Herman Reedy has joined OpenAI as B2B integrated marketing lead, moving into the full-time role after spending five months with the company as an integrated marketing manager on a contract basis.
Herman Reedy announced the appointment on LinkedIn, saying she was “incredibly grateful” and excited about the opportunity. She began her full-time role in August 2026 and is based in the New York City metropolitan area.
Her appointment comes as OpenAI continues to build out its business-focused marketing operations as demand for artificial intelligence tools expands across enterprises and professional users.
Before taking up the new position, Herman Reedy worked at OpenAI as an integrated marketing manager from April to August 2026. Her transition to a permanent role gives her a broader remit focused on B2B integrated marketing.
Herman Reedy spent nine years at Verizon before joining OpenAI. She most recently served as senior marketing manager from January 2021 to April 2026.
During her tenure at Verizon, she also held the positions of brand marketing manager and associate account director, building experience across brand and integrated marketing.
Earlier in her career, Herman Reedy worked in agency roles. She was an account supervisor at PureGrowth between January and September 2017 and an account manager at Saatchi & Saatchi from March 2016 to January 2017.
She began her professional career at Ogilvy & Mather, where she worked as an account executive from September 2013 to August 2016.
Her career spans both agency and client-side marketing, covering account management, brand marketing and integrated campaigns. At OpenAI, that experience will now be brought into a dedicated B2B marketing role as the company expands its enterprise-focused business.
