Starbucks India finance chief set to steer Bajaj Electricals’ next growth phase
MUMBAI: Bajaj Electricals has appointed Ashween Anand as chief financial officer designate and senior management personnel, effective May 14, 2026. The company said she will formally take over as CFO following approval at the upcoming board meeting.
Ashween Anand joins the consumer appliances and electricals company after serving as CFO at Starbucks India, where she led finance and strategy for the coffee chain’s India operations during a key expansion phase.
At Starbucks India, Anand played a central role in strengthening the company’s financial planning, governance and growth strategy, while supporting the brand’s rapid store expansion across the country. She also led several transformation initiatives including finance process upgrades, ERP modernisation and demand forecasting systems.
Before Starbucks India, Anand headed sales finance and revenue growth management at Colgate-Palmolive and spent nearly seven years at Mondelez International across finance leadership roles spanning India, Bangladesh and the Asia, Middle East and Africa region.
Her earlier stints include valuation and finance roles at Deloitte and Ernst & Young. A chartered accountant by qualification, Anand has also completed a digital transformation programme from the Indian School of Business.
The appointment comes as Bajaj Electricals continues to sharpen its focus on operational efficiency, profitability and business transformation amid evolving consumer demand and increasing competition in the appliances market.
With experience across consumer brands, retail and finance transformation, Anand is expected to bring a mix of strategic planning and operational discipline to the company’s leadership team.
