Animmoov appoints Arun Anilkumar to lead India revenue growth

Former mCanvas and InMobi executive joins as Country Head for India expansion

MUMBAI: Every growth story needs a new lead, and Animmoov has found its next one. Animmoov Digital Media has strengthened its leadership team in India with the appointment of Arun Anilkumar as Country Head – Revenue & Growth, India, as the company looks to accelerate its expansion and deepen partnerships in one of its key growth markets.

Announcing the appointment on LinkedIn, the digital media company said Arun’s expertise in revenue generation, business development and strategic partnerships will play a pivotal role in driving its next phase of growth across India.

Arun joins Animmoov after serving as Associate Director at mCanvas, where he was involved in expanding the company’s digital advertising business. Before that, he spent nearly seven years at InMobi, holding multiple leadership positions across programmatic sales, enterprise sales and brand partnerships.

During his tenure at InMobi, Arun led Microsoft Advertising’s enterprise sales business in India and managed strategic relationships with leading agencies including GroupM, OMD, Carat, Isobar, Interactive Avenues, Havas Media, Ogilvy and Madison. He also worked closely with marquee brands such as Diageo, Lenovo, OnePlus, Titan, Flipkart, ITC and Britannia, delivering digital advertising and brand engagement solutions.

Earlier in his career, Arun held advertising sales roles at Nimbuzz Messenger and gained international experience with PES Security in the UK, where he worked across client services, business operations and event management.

A graduate in Advertising and Media from Northumbria University, Arun brings more than a decade of experience spanning adtech, programmatic advertising, enterprise sales and digital media.

The appointment reflects Animmoov’s growing focus on the Indian market as it looks to strengthen its commercial presence, expand client relationships and build a stronger footprint in the country’s fast-evolving digital advertising ecosystem.
