Zepto adds Steam, PlayStation and gaming gift cards to its app
Quick commerce platform expands digital offerings with vouchers from Rs 98 to Rs 3,000 for Steam, PSN, Nintendo, Valorant and more
MUMBAI: Looks like the next gaming power-up is arriving in 10 minutes instead of loading in 10 seconds. Zepto is expanding beyond groceries and gadgets, giving Indian gamers a quicker way to top up their gaming wallets with digital gift cards for platforms including Steam, PlayStation Network (PSN) and Nintendo.
The quick commerce platform has introduced a range of digital gaming vouchers on its app, allowing users to purchase Steam Gift Cards alongside PlayStation Gift Cards, Nintendo eShop Vouchers, Valorant Gift Cards, EA Sports FC 26 Gift Cards, Google Play Recharge Codes and Discord Digital Gift Cards.
The gift cards are available in multiple denominations, with prices ranging from Rs 98 to Rs 3,000 depending on the platform and voucher selected, giving gamers the flexibility to buy everything from small wallet top-ups to full game purchases.
The move reflects how quick commerce players are increasingly stretching beyond physical deliveries into instant digital services, where purchases are fulfilled in moments rather than minutes. For gamers, it also removes the need to switch between multiple platforms to buy digital credits.
Buying games has already become easier for Indian users in recent years. Steam, alongside the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Connect, introduced UPI support, simplifying purchases through one of the country’s most widely used payment methods.
The timing also comes as gamers have plenty to spend those credits on. This week’s free titles across the Epic Games Store and Amazon Prime Gaming include Foretales, In Sound Mind and Mystic Academy: Escape Room, adding further momentum to India’s growing digital gaming ecosystem.
