Tata Play Binge Shots adds micro-drama platform Klip
Klip brings around 60 shows and more than 3,000 episodes to the platform
MUMBAI: Short attention spans are getting a longer watchlist. Tata Play Binge Shots has added micro-drama platform Klip to its content library, bringing around 60 shows and more than 3,000 episodes, with the catalogue comprising over 6,000 minutes of primarily Hindi-language content.
Founded by filmmaker Vicky Bahri and producer-actor Harman Baweja, Klip’s catalogue spans romance, drama, thriller, mystery, comedy and fantasy, giving viewers a mix of bite-sized stories across genres.
Among the titles joining the platform are Dhundh, Tasveer, Mastermind, Khabardar, Ek Raat, Hadsa, Lamho Ki Guzarish, Naagmani Ka Shrap, Bhoot Bangla, Raju Ban Gaya Raja and Pi Girl.
Klip becomes the latest addition to Tata Play Binge Shots’ growing line-up of micro-drama services, joining STAGE, Pocket Films, Bullet, BhaktiFlix and Vertigo TV. The platform adds around 15 new shows every month, keeping the short-format catalogue moving at a steady clip.
Its upcoming slate includes Aakhri Daawat, Tabahi, 72 Hours, The Situationship, Engagement, Snip, The Adventures of Kanta Bai, Katputli, Feel in Love with Genie, Khara Sona, Hawala, Kavach, Operation Trinetra, Ishq Switch and Satyakar.
Klip will also be accessible through the Tata Play Mobile App, extending the short-form offering beyond the Binge Shots interface.
The addition comes as Tata Play Binge continues to aggregate content from multiple OTT services under a single subscription and user interface. Its current partner ecosystem spans Prime Video, JioHotstar, ZEE5, Apple TV, Lionsgate, FanCode, aha, SunNXT, Discovery+, BBC Player, ShemarooMe, Hungama, EPICON, Chaupal, STAGE, Waves, Klikk, ManoramaMAX, Nammaflix, iStream, Times Play, PTC Play, Tarang Plus, Playflix, Docubay, TravelXP, VROTT, Animax, Hallmark+, Fuse+, Ultra Play, Ultra Jhakaas, ShortsTV, Curiosity Stream and DistroTV.
With Klip adding thousands of episodes to the mix, Tata Play Binge Shots is betting that when it comes to micro-dramas, a little story can still make a big impression.
