GTA 6 PC release date in India remains unknown ahead of new reveal

MUMBAI: The GTA wait is still going on, and PC players are yet to get their ticket. Rockstar Games has confirmed a November 19, 2026 launch for Grand Theft Auto VI, but only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for now.

There is still no official release date for the PC version in India, or elsewhere.

The uncertainty comes just weeks before Rockstar is due to offer fans a longer look at GTA 6. The company has announced an “Extended Look” at the game, which is expected to reveal more about its world, characters and gameplay.

For Indian PC gamers, the answer remains simple: Rockstar has not announced one.

The game’s official launch platforms currently include PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with no PC version listed for the November 19 release. As a result, claims circulating online about a specific GTA 6 PC launch date should be treated as speculation unless Rockstar confirms them.

Rockstar has released previous major Grand Theft Auto titles on PC after their console launches. However, that history does not establish a release window for GTA 6.

For now, November 19 applies only to the platforms Rockstar has officially confirmed.

The next major update will arrive much sooner.

Rockstar has announced Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look for August 27 in the US. It will premiere on Netflix at 3pm ET before being made available on Rockstar’s official YouTube channel and the GTA 6 website at 9pm ET.

For viewers in India, the extended look will premiere on Netflix on August 28 at 12:30am IST, before becoming available on YouTube and the GTA 6 website at 6:30am IST.

Rockstar has not officially called the presentation “Trailer 3”. The company is using the term “Extended Look”, although fans and gaming websites may refer to it as GTA 6 Trailer 3.

Rockstar has not provided a detailed breakdown of what will feature in the extended presentation.

Fans can expect a deeper look at the fictional state of Leonida, where the game is set, along with its central characters, Jason and Lucia.

The footage could provide more details about exploration, missions, combat, vehicles and the game’s open-world mechanics, although Rockstar has not confirmed exactly which elements will be shown.

The new material could also give players a better sense of how the game’s world has evolved since previous trailers.

While PC players are still waiting, console gamers have a firm date.

GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The release follows an earlier delay, with Rockstar moving the game from its previous launch window.

Pre-orders are already available, while digital pre-loading is scheduled to begin on November 12, one week before launch.

It is widely expected that GTA 6 will eventually arrive on PC, given Rockstar’s history of bringing major titles to the platform. But expectation is not confirmation.

Until Rockstar announces a PC version and provides a release window, there is no official GTA 6 PC release date to report for India.
