ABP’s BAE sweeps five awards at Shows of India

NEW DELHI: A newcomer has crashed the party and taken the spoils. BAE, the live entertainment arm of ABP Network, picked up five awards at Shows of India, marking a strong debut for a vertical still in its infancy.

The wins spanned Best Live Act of the year, Music Tour of the year, Best on-ground promotions, Best fan experience and Best use of digital marketing, a clean sweep across categories that matter in a business driven by scale, spectacle and audience pull.

BAE positions itself as an experiences-first platform, betting on immersive live events, festivals and concerts to drive growth. The early haul suggests that bet is landing.

Rajat Uppal, business head, BAE, called it a fast start with more to come. “It’s been an incredible start for BAE to win the key awards for its first tour and we are only getting started. Sunidhi I am Home India Tour turned out to be one of the biggest tours of 2026 in scale, impact and delivering memorable consumer experiences and the team at BAE is elated with these recognitions at Shows of India. We are looking forward to a year ahead which has some exciting live events IPs and concerts lined up,” he said.

The vertical is already lining up a broader slate, promising bigger stages, more cities and a steady pipeline of event-led intellectual properties aimed at capturing India’s fast-growing appetite for live entertainment.

Behind it sits ABP Network, a multi-language media company with a reach of 528m people in India, alongside ABP Studios, its content arm focused on original programming beyond news.

For BAE, the message is blunt. It has arrived early, moved fast and won big. The encore, if it comes, will have to be louder.
