SBI General rolls out new motor insurance campaign with Pankaj Tripathi
New film extends ‘Chuniye Bharosa, Apno Sa’ campaign across platforms
MUMBAI: When it comes to protecting your prized possession, the road to trust matters as much as the drive itself. Betting on that simple insight, SBI General Insurance has expanded its brand campaign with a new motor insurance film featuring actor Pankaj Tripathi, as insurers increasingly look to build emotional connections rather than compete only on price.
The latest chapter of the insurer’s integrated ‘Chuniye Bharosa, Apno Sa’ campaign shifts the spotlight to motor insurance, encouraging consumers to think beyond policy documents and choose an insurance partner they can rely on when accidents and breakdowns strike.
The campaign is built around the idea that while buying a vehicle is often a carefully considered decision, selecting motor insurance is frequently treated as a routine purchase. Through the new film, SBI General aims to underline the importance of making that decision with equal care.
The company said the campaign is part of its broader effort to make insurance simpler, more accessible and more relevant for customers, while reinforcing its positioning around trust and dependable support throughout the vehicle ownership journey.
The campaign will be rolled out across television, print, outdoor, OTT and digital platforms, allowing the insurer to reach consumers through multiple touchpoints.
Supporting the campaign is SBI General’s motor insurance offering, which includes access to more than 8,400 network garages, cashless repair facilities, quicker claim approvals and a transparent claims process designed to simplify vehicle ownership.
Tripathi continues as the face of the campaign, with the insurer banking on his relatable screen persona to communicate themes of trust, simplicity and dependability across audiences.
The campaign comes at a time when India’s motor insurance market is becoming increasingly competitive, prompting insurers to differentiate themselves through brand trust and customer experience as much as product features. As vehicle ownership continues to rise, insurers are also investing more heavily in mass-media campaigns to strengthen recall and encourage consumers to view insurance as an ongoing relationship rather than a mandatory purchase.
